Lego Club, February 18

Children and adults alike are invited to attend the Lego Club gathering on Saturday, February 18, from 10:30 am to noon. The Lego Club is held the third Saturday of each month for any Lego fans. The library supplies the Legos; you supply the imagination!

Adult Gaming Night, February 20

Back by popular demand is Game Night for adults. The next Game Night will be Friday, February 17, 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Mark your calendar for the third Friday of each month through April 20. Bring your own games or play any of the games supplied by the library. Bring snacks to share, if you'd like, and enjoy an evening of fun and fellowship.

Everything Chocolate, February 25

Come to the library on Saturday, February 25, at 7:00pm to experience “Everything Chocolate.” Participate in a library scavenger hunt designed to make patrons and future patrons familiar with the library and what we have to offer. A chocolate competition is also being held, but participation in this part of the event is optional. Anyone who wishes to compete for the “Chocolate Champion” should register at the library. You can come in person to register or call the library at 402-296-4154 and speak to any staff member. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. This free event is being held for adults 18 years of age or older.

Computer Classes

Computer classes resume at the Plattsmouth Public Library on Thursday, January 12. Each Thursday, from January 12 through February 16, will feature a different subject. Each class runs from 1:00-3:00 pm, and they are free and open to the public. You may take select classes or all of them. Topics are Basic Computers on January 12, Basic Internet on January 19, Using the Internet Wisely on January 26, Word Processing on February 2, Intermediate Email on February 9, and Excel on February 16. Please call the library to register or if you have any questions. Class size is limited to 12.

Another round of the computer classes has been scheduled from February 21 through March 27. These sessions will be held 6:00-8:00 pm each Tuesday night. Topics are Basic Computers on February 21, Basic Internet on February 28, Using the Internet Wisely on March 6, Word Processing on March 13, Intermediate Email on March 20, and Excel on March 27.
